We are wanting to see our creative industry grow in 2026 with the rise of local short films in our region. Birmingham Film Studio is offering an exclusive 50% discount on studio bookings and equipment for any filmmakers from the Midlands creating a short film with local crew from the Midlands.

This includes 50% off the studio booking cost along with all lighting,
furniture or set equipment booked with us.

Terms and Conditions: 

Here's the T&C's for the 50% discount. Do not enquire if you cannot meet these requirements. 

1. You're a film-maker shooting a short film and need a film studio.
2. You're using local crew from the Midlands region to help produce your short film.  
3. You must secure your studio booking before 31st January 2026. The date of using the studio can be anytime you want, but the booking must be secured with a 50% deposit paid by 31st January 2026.

What we offer

Our unit features a large 1,800sq ft (14m x 12m) blacked out studio space (with 6m+ ceiling height) available to hire for filming projects including: film work, commercial, music videos, photo shoots and much more. We also have a green room for talent, bathroom with a shower and lounge area to take a breather in between shoots.

 

We work alongside MPL (Marklew Productions Ltd) so we also have a huge range of professional lighting and equipment hire available as well as experienced technicians and runners.
